An ex-Russian spy named Viktor (David Hemmings) arrives in town and he offers to sell Maurice his
dossier. Maurice is writing his memoirs and he buys the file. To Maurice's horror he discovers the
KGB knew about the time he breached security.
Joel obtains a dossier form Viktor in exchange for medical service. The dossier is on a man called Yevgeny Fleischman.
Yevgeny is not a direct relative of Joel but Joel telephones him up anyway.
A health inspector named Jason gives Holling all manner of grief when he inspects the Brick
and finds it not to be up to code. He gives Holling an ultimatum to get it up to code or he
will close it down.
A friend of Maggie's dies in a plane crash and Maggie attempts to live each day to its fullest.
She tries to be a nicer person but it has a detrimental effect on her health.
