Adam and Eve finally decide to tie the knot after twelve years of co-habitation because Eve is six months pregnant with child. The town of Cicely are thrilled and parties for Adam and Even are given. All goes well until the final moments of the wedding ceremony when Even announces that she can't marry Adam because she is an heiress to a huge fortune. Bernard saves the day however when he agrees to set up a prenuptial agreement.

While the wedding celebrations are going on Maggie is angry with Joel because she is under the impression that they slept together in Juneau. Joel tells her that nothing happened and Maggie is annoyed because Joel should have wanted her enought to have bothered to wake her up for sex. Later on Maggie arrives at Joel's cabin with the sole intention of having sex. Joel gets excited but at the last minute Maggie pulls the plug leaving Joel unsatisfied.

Barbara Semanski hands Maurice a complaint notice from a neighbour. The neighbour accuses Maurice of letting of explosives which hurt his animals.
