Chris starts to release a scent which forces nearly all women to lust after him
uncontrollably. Joel is perplexed by this seemingly irrational phenomenon and
he begins to investigate it scientifically. Visiting optometrist Dr Irene Rondenet
however feels no attraction to Chris and Chris can't seem to get his head around
the fact. There are women all over Cicely who want him but Chris now wants
the woman he can't have.
When Maggie visits the optometrist she comes away with feelings that she is
in decline because her vision is fading and maybe she needs glasses.
Holling takes a picture of Maurice for a NASA gallery but poor Maurice
hits the roof when he starts to realize how people in the town must "really"
see him. Maurice then drags up the past when he accuses Holling of
stealing Shelly away from him.
