In the third series opener Maggie is shocked to discover that her boyfriend Rick was
not as faithful as she was led to believe. When another woman appears at the opening
of Rick's memorial statue and gives a eulogy of her own Maggie gets drunk and
declares war on men.
Adam pays Joel a midnight visit and he forces Joel to come back with him so that
he can tend to his hypochondriac wife Eve. Adam leaves and when Joel tries to
do the same Eve hits him on the head with a frying pan and then shackles him
in irons. When Joel awakens Eve informs him that she needs a 24 hour on call
physican to nurse her day and night. Joel starts fuming but he finally
escapes when he acts as marriage counsellor to the kooky couple.
Maurice is having the time of his life as he shares his love of shooting with his
new love interest, the take charge officer Barbara Semanski. Things turn sour
unfortunately for Maurice when Barbara discovers that Maurice is a tax cheat.
