Maurice's brother Malcolm dies and Maurice is striken with grief. He decides that what he needs
is a family and therefore a son upon whom he can bestow his fortune. After some deliberation he
chooses Chris to be his son. Maurice tries to bring Chris up to the Minnifield standard but eventually
Chris gets sick of the whole idea after Maurice tries laying down the law.
Ed, Shelly and Holling go hunting "Jesse the Bear" but instead of getting on with it Shelly and Holling
get busy together in the tent.
Joel and Maggie take a hygiene class in a remote outpost called Bosswell. Things don't start off well
but with Maggie's help Joel gets the job done.
