Russian Flu

Joel is looking forward to the arrival of his fiancee Elaine from New York when he finds that the pilot who is bringing her to Cicely is also a patient in his office. He needs another pilot quickly and so he reluctantly asks Maggie to do the job. Maggie quickly befriends Elaine much to Joel's chagrin. Joel is excited about his romatic weekend but things are about to take a turn for the worst.
The entire town of Cicely comes down with a case of the flu. Joel enters his office to find his waiting room full of sick people. Joel has a fit when Marilyn starts to treat the patients with an old Indian remedy which smells like as Joel puts it "animal by-products". When Maurice calls an emergency town meeting Joel is accused of being a head KGB point man. Joel survives the meeting but his hopes of romance with Elaine are dashed when she comes down with the flu.
